The dealer where I bought my Grand Cherokee did a pretty nice job detailing under the hood. Mmm shiny black plastic and terrible fuel economy. Not bad at all for 10 years old.

Cleaner than the stack of boxes on the side of my garage that my gf keeps complaining that I haven't gotten rid of yet, when 6 of them are full of nothing but christmas decorations, and I'm jewish.

Terrible fuel economy but does 0-30 faster than most sports cars of the day.

I'm willing to accept the mileage hit since it's not my primary vehicle. More like my winter/utility/road trip car. Same as the '99 Grand Cherokee this replaced—and I put about 5k miles a year on that one. At least it takes regular gas.

I just bought it a couple weeks ago. Not sure if I've made it into Chrysler's owner database yet.
I do know about the ignition switch recall though.
I just re-entered my VIN into Mopar Owner Connect and that's the only recall showing for me.
Care to give me a heads up on what other recalls are on their way?

I am pretty sure the WK's have a fuel pump recall as well.
Call a Jeep dealer or stop in with your VIN to check, I tihnk engine makes a difference.
I love those Jeeps though, they look great, and that 5.7 is a damn good engine.
